Curator narration for this scene.
The Abdijkerk at Aduard is the surviving brick hall of the abbey, used as the church. It is a long Romano-Gothic hall under a gable roof. The tall tower was taken down in the restoration of 1917-1928 and is not rebuilt, and the pinnacles of 1862 were not put back. A clock sits across the west gable and a stair turret stands on the north side. It is overcast, about 9.7°C, with wind near 7.2 km/h and cloud cover about 100%. The church is closed. The lost abbey church is not shown.
